Burnside Berkshire Pork is sourced exclusively from Gloriana Stud in Kellerberrin, Western Australia. Like the name of our Margaret River location ‘Burnside’ plays on the element of creek side as the stud borders the edge of the Daadenning Creek.

The Bradley family has operated the stud for 65 years. It is currently run as a mixed input operation with cropping and around 700 Berkshire and Landrace pigs.

The Berkshire breed is synonymous with a higher levels of intramuscular fat that helps retain and prevent moisture loss. This serves to lift the flavor profile and make the meat more succulent and rich in natural flavor.
